The truth is in God's Word, the living Word, the same Words Jesus spoke, the Bible.
Does the Catholic Church follow God's Word?
John 8:32
“Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free”
Truth, wisdom and discernment, come from reading the Bible, the Word of God.

A Warning
From the Bible!
For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Revelation 22:18-19
What takes away your sins?
If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
1 John 1:6-7
Father is reserved
for God
And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and He is in Heaven
(Matthew 23:9)
Salvation comes from belief in Jesus, before you die.
Repent of your sins, and sin no more, then place your faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Jesus was baptized at about 30 years old. Never was a baby baptized in the Bible.
See baptism info in the Bible, click here.
one God and one Mediator
For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men,
the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself as
a ransom for all
(there are no exceptions, No Mary, No St. Peter, St. John, etc.)
(1 Timothy 2:5-6)
I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me
See John 14:6
Only Worship God,
no one else!
Not even Mary!
Which means don't pray to Mary!!!
Now I, John, saw and heard these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things. Then he said to me, “See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”
Revelation 22:8-9
In this Bible verse the angel tells John to Worship God, not an angel who is a servant, (like Mary was also a servant).
Baptism
Baptism comes after a person chooses to believe in Jesus Christ and repent of their sins (which is making a decision, and babies don't make decisions, so baptizing a baby is a ritual, not of the Bible). Catholic Churches baptize babies, never was a baby baptized in the Bible. Babies don't make decisions to repent of their sins.
Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
(Read it now in John 3:3)
A Catholic priest in a confessional, cannot take away your sins!
Jesus died on the cross, for everyones sins. You must repent from your own sins and pray directly to Jesus for Him to forgive you.
Only Jesus Christ can forgive sin. Repent of your sin and believe in Jesus! Ask Jesus to forgive you with a sincere heart and you will be forgiven,
but if you go on sinning, He knows you are not sincere and your efforts are worthless!
Read in Acts 2:38
Do not pray to Mary or use the Rosary or any other trinket or treasure to get between you and Jesus!
There is only one God the Father Who is one with Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit.
There is only one God and He is a jealous God. Look what God did when the people worshiped the golden calf.
(Exodus 32:1-35)
many were killed that day. Any idol worship, or prayer to Mary is taking away from the one and only GOD!
Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”(Matthew 4:10)
Catholic's removed the Second Commandment!
“You shall not make for yourself a carved image-any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
(Exodus 20:4)

IDOLS
Catholic Churches are filled with idols (statues), that's why they removed the second commandment and never mention Exodus 20:4.
Please take Jesus off the cross, He is alive, in Heaven. Exodus 20:4 forbids this created likeness.
Exodus 20:4
What about Mary?
Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”
(Luke 1:26-28)
Note to Catholics: Blessed is Mary, among women, not above women, just as John the Baptist was blessed in his work.
Mary -
the maidservant
And Mary said:
“My soul magnifies the Lord, And my spirit has rejoiced in
God my Savior (Mary's).
For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant
(Luke 1:46-48)
Note to Catholics: Mary refers to herself as a maidservant, and says her spirit rejoiced in God her Savior.
Confirming that she (Mary) needs a Savior, like all people need Jesus. Mary is not to be worshiped or prayed to, as this is elevating Mary between man and God, yet there is only one, between us and God and that is Jesus Christ!
Rosary is not in the Bible
The Rosary promotes prayer to Mary, who also needs our Savior, Jesus Christ.
If you follow God's Word, you won't pray to Saints, patron Saints, Mary or anything else made up by any religion, idols, etc...
And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. Matthew 6:7
(Matthew 6:7)
Mary the maidservant
Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.
(Luke 1:38)
Why you do not
bow to the Pope.
The Pope is only a man, like all men, there is not one man, greater than another. Peter proves this in:
Acts 10:25-26
But Peter made him get up. "Stand up," he said, "I am only a man myself."
Acts 10:26
An example of what reading the Bible will do for you!
Josiah the king, heard the Word of God, read from the "Book of the Law in the house of the Lord.”
2 Chronicles 34
You shall not worship the Lord your God with such things
And you shall destroy their altars, break their sacred pillars, and burn their wooden images with fire; you shall cut down the carved images of their gods and destroy their names from that place. You shall not worship the Lord your God with such things.
Deuteronomy 12:3-4
Nothing near God's Altar
“You shall not plant for yourself any tree, as a wooden image, near the altar which you build for yourself to the Lord your God. You shall not set up a sacred pillar, which the Lord your God hates.
Deuteronomy 16:21-22
A carved image
For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. “When you beget children and grandchildren and have grown old in the land, and act corruptly and make a carved image in the form of anything, and do evil in the sight of the Lord your God to provoke Him to anger,
Deuteronomy 4:24-26
